For more than 20 years, we have participated in numerous regional initiatives of the research location Trier, in which the university and non-university scientific and cultural institutions such as the city library, city archive and treasury Trier as well as the Benedictine Abbey St. Matthias, but also scholars inside the university bundle their common research interests. For example, we have been working closely for a long time with the colleagues in Department II, Department III, Department IV and Department V, with the Faculty of Theology and the Institute for Law and Digitization, the Institute for Cusanus Research, the Servicezentrum eSciences, the Trier College for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (TriKo), the Center for Informatics Research and Technology (CIRT), the Arye Maimon Institute for the History of the Jews (AMIGJ), as well as Trier University Library, the library of the Rheinisches Landesmuseum, the library of the Episcopal Seminary, and the workspace of the new Middle High German Dictionary have been working closely together for a long time.
Since the beginning of 2021, the TCDH is a central scientific institution of the University of Trier. The following projects are examples of our joint work at the University of Trier and in the region.
