New Double Online Release on the Schnitzler Edition
With the verse comedy „Die Schwestern oder Casanova in Spa” (1919) and the novella „Der letzte Brief eines Literaten und ein Nachwort” (1928) wo further works are now available on the online „Arthur Schnitzler digital. The Digital Historical-Critical Edition”.

Working Meeting on Macrogenesis
On May 19, the team of the digital Arthur Schnitzler Edition met at the TCDH in Trier. Over coffee, fruit, and snacks, the planned macrogenesis of the Schnitzler Edition was discussed.

Version 4.0 of the Johann Caspar Lavater Correspondence Edition now available
Once again, just in time for Johann Caspar Lavater's birthday, the research project Johann Caspar Lavater: Historical-Critical Edition of Selected Correspondence (JCLB) will go online on 15 November 2025 with version 4.0. This means that all correspondence planned for JCLB to date will be available online.

Launch of one of the leading historical-critical editions of German literature as a digital edition
The Marburg Büchner Edition (MBA) is a highly complex, annotated, historical-critical edition. This was already true for the print version (2000 to 2013) and has been further enhanced in the digital edition, released on November 10, 2025, by the possibilities of digital presentation.

Arthur Schnitzler – digitally published ‘Flucht in die Finsternis’
Making Arthur Schnitzler's works and the history of their creation digitally accessible to the public and researchers is the goal that scientists at the University of Wuppertal are pursuing with the online portal ‘Arthur Schnitzler digital. Digital critical edition (works from 1905 to 1931)’ in collaboration with international partners. They have now added a new work to the platform.
