2002-2003: chair of Linguistics and Luxembourg Studies at the Université du Luxembourg

2005-2008: Professeure invitée at the Université du Luxembourg

Since 2003: holder of the C4 professorship for Older German Philology (Linguistic History with a focus on Medieval German) at the University of Trier and scientific director of the "Trier Center for Digital Humanities"

Founding member of the Trier Center for Medieval Studies (TZM); founding member and deputy spokeswoman of the Trier College for the Middle Ages and Early Modern Times (TriKo, since 2019)

Founding member and board member of the Forum for Language and Communication at the University of Trier (since 2016)
