The 3rd conference of the Digital Humanities Benelux initiative will take place from 9 to 10 June 2016 in Belval, Luxembourg.

The 3rd conference of the Digital Humanities Benelux initiative will take place from 9 to 10 June 2016 in Belval, Luxembourg. The competence center also participates in the "Poster and Demos Session“ (Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm) with two contributions.

Stefan Büdenbender, Martin Sievers, Joshgun Sirajzade and Frank Queens give in their lecture "Inventorying, transcribing, collating, and printing: basic components of a virtual platform for scholarly editing" insights into the editing work within the virtual research environment FuD and the interaction with digital editing tools for transcription, collation and output (web / print).

In addition, Martin Sievers is showing the poster “Typesetting Using X-Technologies - Dead End or Promising Path? An Overview of Pros and Cons Regarding Critical Editions ”, with which he presents the various conceptual methods of converting XML data into a print publication.
