Lecture by Dr. Claudia Bamberg: "Digital Edition of the Correspondence of August Wilhelm Schlegel: Concept - Practice - Usage"
as part of the conference "Transformation, Value, and Impact of Editions - 50 Years of the Working Group for Philosophical Editions"
Through the exchange of representatives from current international edition projects in philosophy as well as other disciplines and digital humanities, the conference examines the transformation, value, and impact of editions. Key questions include: What are the philosophical characteristics of an edition? What edition formats are present in the philosophical field and which ones are groundbreaking? What contribution can editions make to the visibility of the field of philosophy in the public sphere? What are the changing expectations regarding philosophical editions? How do the expectations of readers and users of a printed edition differ from those of a digital medium?
