FuD & Transcribo merge together

The transcription tool Transcribo, developed as part of the Arthur Schnitzler: Digital Historical-Critical Edition project, now has the option of being connected to an existing R&D system.

The Transcribo tool, developed in the course of the project “Arthur Schnitzler: The Digital Historical-Critical Edition”, can now be connected to an already existing FuD-system. Facsimiles registered in the FuD database can be opened and edited in Transcribo. The transcript and possible annotations made will be saved to the FuD database. This conjoint interface offers the possibility of a more widespread usa of FuD and enables the system to expand towards a more integrated transcription environment.
