That Goethe did not like dogs is also evident in his use of the word “dog talk,” by which he meant something like Hate Speech. But what exactly is it all about? Here, the participants will gain insights into Goethe's “dog” words and thus also into the cultural-historical significance of the dog in the 18th century. Hate speech in today's social media will also be discussed.
