On July 15, 2025, with version 3.2, all letters from and to Johann Caspar Lavater imported into JCLB to date will be provided with the corresponding measurements. These can be found in the “metadata” of each letter. This means that the previous library desideratum concerning developments in the TCDH has been resolved.

A further 700 or so letters were imported into the »Network« section, bringing the total to 19,627.

The following correspondence can now be found in the “»Edition« section: Lavater's correspondence with the poets Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz (1751-1793) and Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart (1739-1791) as well as correspondence with the philosopher Christian Garve (1742-1798) and the painter and engraver Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein (1751-1829).

The first scholarly introductions to individual correspondences were also placed in the “Edition” section, for example on Lavater and Philipp Emanuel Bach, Joachim Heinrich Campe, Johann Wilhelm Ludwig Gleim, Johann Georg Hamann, Johann Gottfried Herder, Friedrich Maximilian Klinger and Adolph Knigge.
