Text and data mining - in law, science and societyText and data mining is a complex field in which various actors attach diverse, often conflicting interests. The task of law is to balance these interests and to create legal certainty for everyone involved.
This complex field will be discussed at the conference "Text und Data Mining – in Recht, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft", which will take place on June 21 and 22, 2018 under the direction of Prof Dr Benjamin Raue (Professorship for Civil Law) and Prof Dr Christof Schöch (Professorship for Digital Humanities) at the University of Trier in cooperation with the Trier Center for Digital Humanities.
