Strengthening Supervisory Competence: Opportunities and Challenges in the Digital Humanities and Cultural Sciences

The series opens with an event on the topic of "High-Performance Computing", followed by two panel discussions on the topics of "GLAM" and "Interdisciplinarity". Representatives from universities and the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) will come together in varying constellations, discuss a range of propositions, and open up spaces for reflection. By attending the events, participants will gain new perspectives on current topics that they can bring to the supervision and advising of their students and doctoral candidates. Time for questions and open discussion will be provided at all events.

The event series "Purposefully Strengthening Supervisory Competence" is jointly organised and delivered by Technische Universität Darmstadt and the University of Trier.

All sessions will take place online via Zoom.
