The buzzword „Open Science“ is increasingly used to describe practices that emphasise the fun¬damental openness of science and research. This also influences peer review processes, which are to be made increasingly fairer and more transparent.

In the workshop we will look at different types of peer review processes and discuss advantages and disadvantages:

  • What are the different options for peer review?
  • What are best practices?
  • How can I write a good review?
  • How can I organise a peer review process for events / publications?
  • How do I communicate with (potential) reviewers for my event / publication?

The workshop will combine theoretical input with hands-on practice.
