The Ladin-German/German-Ladin Dictionary Celebrates its Digital Premiere

Following an introductory welcome address by Dr.-Ing. Daniel Alfreider (Provincial Councilor for Ladin Schools and Culture) and an introduction by Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Konrad Bergmeister (President of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and President of the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation), Dr. Giovanni Mischí (author) will present the diverse content of the new Ladin-German/German-Ladin dictionary.

Subsequently, Dr. Thomas Burch and Dr. Claudia Bamberg (Directors at TCDH) will deliver a talk on “The Ladin-German/German-Ladin Dictionary in the Dictionary Network: Technical Concept – Functions – Application.”

This will be followed by a presentation by Iaco Rigo (editor-in-chief, Usc di Ladins), Dr. Mateo Taibon (journalist, Raî Ladinîa) and Dr. Ingrid Runggaldier (translator) on the dictionary in practice and its usefulness for everyday use. 

The program will conclude with a short reading of “Ladin in Poetry” by Roberta Dapunt.
