Event-SeiteIn contrast to traditional print editions, digital editions with their data structure claim to be (re)usable in a variety of ways. However, what re-use actually means in the case of digital editions is often unclear. Using the example of the Johann Caspar Lavater: Historisch-kritische Edition ausgewählter Briefwechsel (JCLB) research project, which has already been largely realised digitally, the workshop looks to the future and asks how edition data can be made fruitful for different academic approaches and perspectives. Using concrete examples and ideas for re-utilising and analysing edition data, the workshop aims to shed light on the potential and challenges of edition data from different perspectives.
