On 24 April 2015, the University of Trier holds an information event for Bachelor's students and those interested in pursueing a Master's degree in any field on offer in Germany's oldest city.

Prof Dr Caroline Sporleder will hold an information session for students interested in the bilingual Master's studies programme ‘Digital Humanities’ (MSc) in room B 18 from 11am to 1pm. Representing the TCDH are Matthias Schneider and Ursula Schultze, introducing the newly developed project “Lehren und Lernen im Virtuellen Museum – Digitale Geisteswissenschaften innovativ vermittelt” (Teaching and Learning in the Virtual Museum – Digital Humanities taught inventively). Supported by the Nikolaus Koch Stiftung and the ‘Koordinationsstelle E-Learning’ at the University of Trier, the Virtual Museum contributes its own Master's seminar to the DH programme; via an online platform developed with and by the students, it presents current topics, contents, projects, and tools in the Digital Humanities.

The Digital Humanities as a quickly developing field of studies at the interface between Computational Sciences and the Humanities prepares its graduates for manifold and stellar career prospects, particularly in historico-cultural institutions such as museums and archives, in tourism, in publishing, as well as the public sector.
