The network "Internetlexikographie"The lexicographical process has so far been studied almost exclusively in relation to printed dictionaries. In the case of Internet dictionaries (and especially those that are being set up), this process is completely different: Here, the individual production phases are not described in succession, but rather a permanent juxtaposition and interlinking of individual work steps.
In this context a number of questions arise, e.g. B. according to how editing sub-vocabularies are to be selected or how different versions are to be versioned or archived. It should be examined how these changes affect the users. It is also worth considering how the visualization of lexicographic information can support the lexicographic process. How users can be included in the lexicographical process and what opportunities and problems so-called bottom-up lexicography offers is another topic of discussion.
At the working meeting, the lexicographic process will be described for various Internet dictionaries so that the media-specific processes become transparent and the question can be answered as to how the lexicographic process changes when Internet dictionaries are published. Another question to be answered is what influence the new possibilities of obtaining data from electronic text corpora have on the lexicographical process. The focus will also be on the effects on users.
