For his teaching a workshop at the second annual DHd conference 2015, held in Graz from 23-27 February, Matthias Schneider, working at the Trier Center for Digital Humanities since 2010, has been awarded a CLARIN-D travelling scholarship.

The German research infrastructure project in the Digital Humanities is associated with the European CLARIN network (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure). Three young scholars have earned the support of CLARIN-D for their notably highly original and innovative abstracts.

In cooperation with Thomas Kollatz (Salomon Ludwig Steinheim Institute for German-Jewish History, Essen) and Ute Recker-Hamm (Akademie der Wissenschaften und Literatur, Mainz), Matthias Schneider held the workshop “Frosh oder Prinz? TUSTEP als Werkzeug der digitalen Geisteswissenschaften” (Frog or Prince? TUSTEP as a Digital Humanities Tool) for the International TUSTEP User Group on 23 Februar 2015. The travelling scholarship was awarded on 26 February 2015 during the DHd general meeting.
