The new issue of the university journal - the magazine of the University of Trier - also published a comprehensive article about the new interdisciplinary project "Kurt Schwitters' intermediale networks of the avant-garde", on which the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH) has been working since March 2016. The project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The new issue of the university journal - the magazine of the University of Trier - also published a comprehensive article about the new interdisciplinary project "Kurt Schwitters' intermediale networks of the avant-garde", on which the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH) has been working since March 2016. The project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

 

In the DFG project under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ursula Kocher (Wuppertal) is the first to fully examine and edit the Merz magazine series published by Schwitters (1923-1932) and other printed matter that was created in his advertising agency Merzwerbe.

 

Our competence center supports the project, in which the Kurt Schwitters Archiv im Sprengel Museum Hannover is also involved, by providing a virtual research environment that works like a digital office. In addition, the TCDH assists in presenting the research results in an online edition.
