Webseite Digital Humanities Universität TrierThis lecture is part of the lecture series "Practice of Digital Humanities". It takes place as part of the Master's "Digital Humanities". However, it is open to all interested parties and will be designed as a video conference with a lecture and discussion option.
Wikidata is an open knowledge base with more than 90 million elements, available under a free license, and that can be interlinked to other open data sets. In this talk I will share the basics of this LOD platform, the way its query interface works, and some examples of how we have been using it in the last four years at our research library.
