Dr. Élodie RipollThe lecture series “Praxis der Digital Humanities” will take place within the framework of the Master 'Digital Humanities'. It is open to all interested parties, also from other courses or from outside the university, and will be designed as a video conference with lecture and discussion possibility.
Interdisciplinarity and the need to actively adopt different perspectives are characteristic of the digital humanities. Both aspects also play a major role in libraries when it comes to accessing, processing and providing data.
In this lecture, various projects from the library sector will be presented in which the knowledge and skills acquired during the DH degree program were of great help. At the same time, possible career prospects in memory institutions will also be highlighted.
