EventOn December 1st 2007 at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm in the animal clinic Elmer - Kornberg - Schanen in Trier-Feyen (Pellingerstr. 57) there will be another "flash of inspiration in the city". Dr. des. Nathalie Groß from the “Competence Center for Electronic Indexing and Publication Processes in the Humanities”, who is responsible for setting up the Heinrich Heine portal on the Internet, talks about Heinrich Heine and the dog.
With this event, the initiative “Geistesblitze” of the humanities research associations at the University of Trier continues the series of 15-minute short lectures at unusual locations in the city, which began in September. With this format, scientists enable the public to gain insight into their research in an entertaining and generally understandable way. More information on the “Geistesblitze” initiative and the “Geistesblitze in der Stadt” campaign can be found at: www.geistesblitze.uni-trier.de
The “brainstorm” on Heine's “virtuous dog” in the evening takes place as part of a training course for veterinarians in the veterinary clinic. At 7 p.m., Prof. Dr. Reinhard Mischke gave the evening lecture on the topic: "Die Falklandinseln - Pinguine, Seeelefanten - grandiose Fotos von einer geheimnisvollen Inselwelt".
