On the 19th and 20th February 2015, a second international workshop on “Machines and Manuscripts” will be held at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The topic focus will lie on “Opportunities for the Automatic Pattern Recognition and Analysis of Historical Documents”. The workshop series is organised by the BMBF supported project eCodicology and establishes a basis for the exchange of methods of automatic pattern recognition between researchers in a variety of fields.
