Scientific Advisory Board Appointed for New Term

The Scientific Advisory Board of the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH) has been newly constituted for the 2026-2029 term. 

We are delighted to welcome the following members:

• Dr. Lisa Dieckmann, Department of Art History, University of Cologne (Second Term)
• Prof. Dr. Andreas Fickers, Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History, University of Luxembourg (Second Term)
• Prof. Dr. Malte Hagener, Institute of Media Studies, Philipps-Universität Marburg
• Prof. Dr. Ralf Schenkel, Faculty IV – Computer Science, Trier University
• Prof. Dr. Antje von Ungern-Sternberg, Faculty V – Law, Trier University

The Advisory Board regularly comments on the scientific performance of the Center, contributes advice to the development of medium- and long-term goals, advises on the optimization of the Center’s organization, and provides expert advice ahead of decisions upon request.

Together with the Center’s management, it was agreed that the Advisory Board will appoint internationally composed review panels. These panels will regularly evaluate the scientific work at the TCDH on a topic-specific basis and make recommendations for its further development.
