Cooperation with Russian Academy of Sciences

The University of Trier and the Institute for Systems Analysis at the Russian Academy of Sciences have signed a cooperation agreement, particularly in the field of digital humanities.

The connections between the university and the institute in Moscow are based on numerous joint research priorities in the field of digital humanities, on which the competence center for electronic indexing and publication processes in the humanities at Trier University and the institute at the Moscow Academy are working.

The first closer ties were established three years ago as part of a German-Russian forum. This resulted in joint lectures, conferences and publications as well as an application for a joint research project that is currently being assessed.
