Caroline Jansky (Editorial Director of the Journal for Digital Humanities) talks about the Journal for Digital Humanities (ZfdG) and its editorial processes and structures.

The lecture series “Praxis der Digital Humanities” will take place within the framework of the Master 'Digital Humanities'. It is open to all interested parties, also from other courses or from outside the university, and will be designed as a video conference with lecture and discussion possibility.

Founded as a Diamond Open Access publication organ for the (German-language) Digital Humanities, the Zeitschrift für digitale Geisteswissenschaften (ZfdG) uses innovative editorial methods to contribute to a freely accessible and transparent exchange of knowledge in line with the Open Science principle. The lecture will present the most important standards and processes for digital journals in general as well as the specific editorial processes and structures of the ZfdG and give a brief outlook on the future of digital publishing.
