The DHd Working Group on Digital Science Communication and Public Humanities is kicking off the new semester with a coffee lecture series on the theme "Knowing What Matters."

For the second lecture on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm, Dr. Stefan Karcher from the DFG has been invited. He will demonstrate how science communication can already be integrated into the planning and application phases of research projects. This Coffee Lecture aims to explore the unique potential of the Digital Humanities for science communication. After all, perhaps there’s more to it than just setting up a project website.

The Coffee Lectures are a 60-minute format that includes both a lecture and a discussion. The events are held virtually, and anyone interested in science communication is warmly invited to attend.
