The DHd Working Group on Digital Science Communication and Public Humanities is kicking off the new semester with a coffee lecture series on the theme "Knowing What Matters."

The first lecture, on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm, will address strategic aspects and current challenges of science communication within the Digital Humanities. Convenor Mareike Schumacher (University of Stuttgart) will demonstrate how to plan content in the long term and explore new opportunities in the planning process introduced by recent advancements in generative AI. To what extent these can be effectively utilized will be discussed in a shared discussion following the presentation.

The Coffee Lectures are a 60-minute format consisting of a lecture and a discussion. The events are held virtually, and anyone interested in science communication is warmly invited to attend.
