At the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH), we are involved in the description, classification, and automatic detection of critique in fictional narrative texts within the project “Modernity as Loss? Textual Structures, Variants, and Cycles of Literary Cultural Critique.” We are looking for a student assistant for data collection in our text corpus and for research/editing, who will support us for 28 hours per month.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Annotation of text snippets
- Research assignments and digitisation
- Editing of academic texts, especially bibliographies

Requirements & Qualifications
- Literary and/or linguistic background, ideally German/English studies
- Interest in working with digital tools and literary texts
- Accuracy in handling texts, ability to work independently
- Interest in long-term employment (at least 1 year)
- L1 German
